Bioinformatics M.Sc. Position in Plant Pathology

The Cassone lab at Brandon University is seeking a highly motivated M.Sc. student with an interest in plant pathology. The successful applicant will analyze big data sets (e.g., RNA sequencing, 16S amplicon sequencing) related to Fusarium head blight resistance in spring wheat cultivars. If desired, the applicant will also have the opportunity to conduct field work and carry out molecular biology techniques.
